Physician Services Group (PSG) is actively seeking a dedicated Physician to join our team providing high-quality care in Skilled Nursing and Post-Acute settings.

Job Details:

  • Location: Aiken, SC

  • Position Type: Full-Time

  • Specialty: Post-Acute / Geriatrics / Primary Care

  • Base Salary: $270,000–$280,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Bonus Structure: Yes

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | Choose your hours

  • Shift Length: 6–8 hours

  • Patient Volume: ~16 per shift

  • Start Date: Flexible – New grads encouraged to apply

Ideal Candidate:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible

  • Licensed or license-eligible in South Carolina

  • Strong interest in post-acute care and chronic disease management

Job Responsibilities

Deliver direct care to long-term care patients

Manage chronic care plans and follow-ups

Collaborate with NPs, MAs, and facility staff

Chart and code appropriately with EMR support

Lead and represent PSG’s model of care on-site

Qualifications

MD or DO, BC/BE

South Carolina medical license

Skilled Nursing, LTC, or post-acute experience (preferred, not required)

Strong leadership and communication skills

New grads welcome – mentorship provided!

Working Hours

6–8 days/month

6–8 hour shifts; ~16 patients/day

1099 physicians must commit to 1–2 days/week minimum

Skills

Comprehensive patient assessment (geriatric and medically complex)

Chronic disease management

Medication management and reconciliation

Skilled in care planning and transitions of care

Acute issue triage and intervention

Knowledge of post-acute and long-term care protocols

Wound care familiarity (basic assessment and coordination)
