Hospital-employed role
Medical Director/Clinical Physician opportunity in a combined Primary Care and/or Urgent Care setting
Responsible for the coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality of services provided at the clinic
Serves as a member of the Medical Management Staff
Collaborates with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop services and program plans
Ensures consistent quality of care by establishing and tracking clinic quality goals
Delivers direct medical services to patients in a clinical setting
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Current and unrestricted California Medical License
Current DEA Registration
California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate
Must meet credentialing requirements to obtain privileges at Shasta Regional Medical Center
3-5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice required
2 years of prior Medical Director experience preferred
Benefits and Compensation:
Competitive base salary range: $290,000-$350,000
Exact starting salary dependent on experience, education, licensure, and skills
