Job description
ChenMed is seeking a Board-Certified Physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to serve as a Physician Reviewer in our Delegated Utilization Management (UM) program. This part-time, fully remote role involves reviewing medical cases for appropriateness of care and contributing to UM quality initiatives across multiple markets.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in required health plan and local market calls.
Attend weekly Primary Care Provider (PCP) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) meetings.
Provide clinical guidance to other physician reviewers.
Engage in ongoing process and quality improvement within the Delegated UM function.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Practice residency
Completion of Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship
Board Certification in residency
Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
Two (2) years’ experience in Hospital medicine preferred
At least one (1) year of utilization review experience preferred
