Locum – Primary Care Physician (FM or IM) | Public Health Clinic | Atlanta, GA

🏥 About the Opportunity:
We’re seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (FM or IM) to join a mission-driven outpatient clinic serving underserved, immigrant, and homeless populations in Atlanta, GA. This is a day-shift only opportunity—no call, no nights, no weekends—perfect for physicians who want to make a difference in community health while enjoying work-life balance.
🔍 Key Highlights:

Outpatient clinic setting
-
10–12 patients/day (mostly adult population)

Work alongside 6 mid-level providers
-
Epic EMR
-
No hospital coverage, no codes, no ED backup
-
Training provided to support care for patients with HIV and Integrated Behavioral Health needs (not a primary duty)

Must be comfortable with pelvic exams, pap smears, and employment physicals
🎯 Clinical Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to underserved patients across all ages (primarily adults)

Participate in clinic quality assurance, chart reviews, and adherence to protocols (under guidance of Medical Director)

Comply with HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, PCER, and all relevant medical standards

Support the clinic team with occasional cross-coverage in HIV or behavioral health areas if needed
📌 Position Requirements:

Active Georgia license and DEA – Required
-
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine – Required

5+ years post-training experience – Required
-
BLS Certification – Required
-
Must be local to Atlanta – No lodging or flights covered (Mileage reimbursed)

Bilingual in Spanish – Highly Preferred

Experience working with immigrant, homeless, and underserved communities – Highly Preferred

Background in supervising clinical staff – Highly Preferred
