A reputable multispecialty medical group in southeast Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join their well-established inpatient care team. This opportunity is available immediately upon obtaining a Massachusetts medical license and hospital credentialing.
Job Responsibilities
-No ICU procedures, intubations, or invasive procedures required
-ICU admissions are rare; critical cases referred to tertiary care centers
-Collaborate with in-house specialists, case managers, and support staff
-Emphasis on efficient, team-based care with a focus on patient satisfaction
-Use of Epic EMR with voice-recognition software and MDCoder charge-capture system
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain one before start date)
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
Working Hours
Shift Types:
-Day Shift: 12-hour rounding (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
-Swing Shift: 9-hour admitting (1:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
-No overnight shifts required
-Must be flexible to work either shift and be assigned to either of two local community hospitals
-Opportunities for additional shifts are available for those interested
