Locum - Physician - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team providing essential care to veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across various locations. This role allows for flexibility, with options to work from your own office or a designated VES facility. We value the contributions you make to those who have served our country.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Document findings and submit reports, including any required addendums.
- Work on a PRN basis, with flexibility to offer half-day or full-day shifts.
- Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluation, and diagnosis of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is preferred.
- Must have a strong background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension assessments.
- Must own a non-Mac laptop.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted full license in Alaska.
- AANP certification required.
- Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
