Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine

Join our dynamic practice in Houston, IN, where we are dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans. Our health assessments include Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, aimed at delivering top-notch care to those who have served.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews and perform physical assessments to evaluate Veterans' health.
• Complete one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.
• Document findings and submit reports, including any necessary addendums.
• Option to work half-days (4-hour shifts) or full-days (8-hour shifts) based on your availability.
• Collaborate with the administration team for smooth onboarding and credentialing.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in METs testing, as well as evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience or background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine with a focus on compensation and pension evaluations.
• Ability to conduct interviews effectively and provide thorough assessments.
• Must possess strong organizational skills for report submission and documentation.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• AANP certification is required.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
• Must own a laptop (Windows only, no Mac/Apple products).
