Exciting Opportunity for General Medicine Physician in Houston, KY

We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role provides a unique opportunity to impact the lives of veterans while working in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams primarily through interviews, with some physical assessments involved.
• Perform separation health assessments based on established guidelines.
• Work on a PRN basis with options for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
• Complete quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Engage in follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions, within the scope of the assigned hours.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted full license in Kentucky.
• AANP certification is required.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is advantageous.
• Experience with compensation and pension processes is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted license in Kentucky.
• AANP certification is required.
• Must be willing to complete DMA training for DMA certification.
