Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - General Medicine in Houston, KY

Join us in serving those who have served our country! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Veterans while working in a supportive environment dedicated to their care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required documentation and submit reports, including any addendums.
• Work on a PRN basis, with the option for both half days (4 hours) and full days (8 hours).
• Maintain a home office or work out of an approved facility within a 50-mile radius of Houston.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification is required.
• Active and unrestricted full medical license in Kentucky.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current, active medical license in Kentucky.
• AANP certified.
• DMA certification required after training completion.
