Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum General Medicine Physician in Houston, KY

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams.
• Perform separation health assessments primarily through interviews and limited physical assessments.
• Complete evaluations of respiratory and cardiovascular systems, including METs testing.
• Provide clinical documentation and reports as required.
• Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
• No prescribing or treatment is involved in this role.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in conducting METs testing and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ownership of a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Certification from the AANP is required.
• An active and unrestricted medical license in Kentucky.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Kentucky.
• DMA certification (preferred, must be completed before performing duties).
• Current certification number (if applicable).
