Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team at a leading facility in Houston, Louisiana that provides vital health evaluations for our nation's Veterans. As a General Medicine Provider, you will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within your own office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform PRN Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments for veterans.
• Conduct primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
• Complete reports and submit them, including any necessary addendums.
• Work either in the office or offsite as needed, adhering to proximity requirements.
• Quick credentialing and onboarding processes.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in General Medicine or related field.
• Experience with compensation and pension examinations.
• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
• Active and unrestricted full medical license in Louisiana.
• Willingness to complete required DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and valid medical license in Louisiana.
• Board certification.
• AANP certification required.
