Job Opportunity: Locum - General Medicine Physician in Houston, MI

Join our team dedicated to serving our nation's veterans! We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation and Pension exams as well as Separation Health Assessments. Our practice operates on a PRN basis, allowing you to contribute while maintaining flexibility. Facilities may be located within your own office, as we are looking for providers situated within a 50-mile radius of the designated cities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interview-based Compensation and Pension exams alongside some physical assessments.
• Perform separation health assessments for veterans as per guidelines.
• No prescribing or treatment involved—focus solely on evaluations.
• Complete required administrative duties, including reports and addendums, within the designated timeframe.
• Mandatory participation in DMA training to become certified.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is encouraged.
• Possess current and unrestricted medical license in Michigan.
• Hold AANP certification.
• Capable of owning and operating a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted state medical license in Michigan.
• AANP certification.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
