Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, MN

Join a dedicated team committed to serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role allows you to work on a flexible, per diem basis, with options to work from your own office or a designated facility. All positions are within a 50-mile radius, ensuring convenience for local candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluation, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Document findings efficiently and submit applicable reports including addendums.
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities.
• Complete required training and onboard swiftly for immediate engagement.
• Availability to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) on a PRN basis.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (Windows-based, no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification is required.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid medical license number.
• Current AANP certification number.
• Must complete the Name Clear process with all required details.
