Job Opportunity: Locum General Medicine Physician in Houston, MO

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and assessments for Compensation & Pension exams.
• Perform physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete Separation Health Assessments as needed.
• Carry out duties on a PRN basis, with options for half or full day shifts.
• No treatment or prescribing; focus solely on evaluations.
• Engage in necessary administrative work, including report submissions and addendums.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in a relevant field (family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine).
• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluation of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience with Compensation and Pension examinations preferred.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Missouri.
• Proficient in using a laptop for administrative tasks (no Mac/Apple products).

License and Certification Requirements

• Must hold an active medical license in Missouri.
• AANP certification is required.
• Completion of DMA training to become DMA certified is mandatory.
