Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - General Medicine in Houston, MT

Join a dedicated team of professionals in the heart of Houston, Montana, working to support our nation's Veterans through crucial Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This position offers the flexibility of per diem opportunities, whether in a Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) facility or your own office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform compensation and pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
• Conduct primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete exams without the need for prescribing or treatment.
• Manage and submit assessment reports, including necessary addendums.
• Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ownership of a laptop (non-Mac or Apple products).
• Current and unrestricted full medical license.
• AANP certification required.
• Ability to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine with compensation and pension experience.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Montana.
• AANP certification.
• DMA certification (willingness to complete required training).
