Job Title: Locum General Medicine Physician
Join a dedicated team as a General Medicine Provider performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This opportunity allows you to serve Veterans from your own office or at designated facilities in the area. You'll be part of a compassionate practice focused on providing essential healthcare services to our nation's heroes in Houston, North Carolina.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct interview-based exams and some physical assessments, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
- Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Work on a PRN basis, with the option to work half days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours).
- Ensure timely completion and submission of examination reports and any required addendums.
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain certifications as necessary.
- Utilize proprietary systems for documentation while ensuring that administrative work is completed as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted full medical license in North Carolina.
- Current experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or related specialties.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Must have access to a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
License and Certification Requirements:
- AANP certification.
- Active North Carolina medical license required.
