Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team that provides vital health assessments to our nation's Veterans. This position offers the flexibility to work at your own office setup or per diem at a designated facility in Houston, NH. As part of a leading government contractor, you will perform Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments, making a meaningful impact in the lives of Veterans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Ensure timely completion of exam reports and necessary addendums.
• Collaborate effectively with staff and other professionals to provide optimal care for Veterans.
• Utilize your skills in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluations.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Must possess a strong understanding of veteran health issues related to Compensation & Pension.
• Ability to work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day or full-day shifts.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted full medical license in New Hampshire.
• AANP certification required.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to attain DMA certification.
