Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team in Houston, TX, providing essential Compensation & Pension exams as well as Separation Health Assessments for our nation's veterans. This role is part of a supportive practice focused on improving the lives of those who have served.

With flexible coverage options available, you can choose to work from a facility or your own office, as long as it is located within a 50-mile radius. Our organization is committed to providing high-quality services, and we welcome dedicated individuals from various medical backgrounds.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
  • Perform interviews and physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including reports and any necessary addendums.
  • Complete all required training and perform initial exams to ensure quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing administrative work as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and veterans to address their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
  • Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple) for documentation and reporting.
  • AANP certification is required.
  • Active and unrestricted full medical license in New Hampshire.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training to become certified.
  • Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Current medical license in New Hampshire.
  • AANP certification.
  • DMA certification upon completion of training.
