Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, TX

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams, including physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
• Complete administrative tasks related to exams, including submitting reports and addendums.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training, including DMA certification, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• AANP certification is required.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
• Must have a dedicated office space to see veterans.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and active medical license required.
• DMA training and certification will be necessary.
• Certification number and home address must be provided for presentation.
