Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Our facility is actively seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Texas. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality care to those who have served.

As a part of this practice, you'll have two coverage options:

• Per diem at a facility located within a 50-mile radius of your home address.
• Operating from your own office, also within 50 miles of the specified city.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Document findings and submit reports, including any required addendums.
• Provide care on a PRN basis, engaging in flexible half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
• No prescribing or treatment required.
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions (required).
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) (required).
• AANP certification (required).
• Active and unrestricted full medical license (required).
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified (required).
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.

• Current home address must be listed for presentation (required).
