Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, TX

This locum opportunity offers you the chance to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. You'll work in a supportive environment focused on providing high-quality care to those who have served our country.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams, including physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
- Complete administrative tasks related to exams, including submitting reports and addendums.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training, including DMA certification, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Active and unrestricted full medical license.
- AANP certification is required.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
- Must have a dedicated office space to see veterans.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current and active medical license required.
- DMA training and certification will be necessary.
- Certification number and home address must be provided for presentation.
