Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opening: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team in Sheridan, Wyoming, where we provide essential services to our nation's Veterans. As part of a government contractor, you will play a vital role in conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, emphasizing quality care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required documentation and submit reports, including any necessary addendums.
• Work on a PRN basis, with options for ½ days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
• Provide services within 25 miles of designated facility locations in Rock Springs and Gillette.

Qualifications:

• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Ability to complete DMA training for certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with Veteran populations.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• AANP certification is required.
• Completion of DMA training as required.
