Locum - Physician - General Medicine in Houston, TX

Join a dedicated team providing vital compensation and pension evaluations and health assessments for Veterans across the United States. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation and Pension exams + separation health assessments on a PRN basis.
• Perform one-time non-treatment C&P exams primarily through interviews with patients, supplemented by physical assessments.
• Assess patients with a focus on general medicine, ensuring thorough evaluations.
• Submit comprehensive reports on examinations, including any necessary addendums.
• Maintain compliance with all administrative requirements related to the role.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification required.
• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current medical license number.
• Certification number for AANP.
• DMA certification status.
