Locum - Internal Medicine - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine in Houston, NM

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct PRN (as needed) examination and assessment for Veterans.
• Perform interviews and physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.
• Submit reports and addendums based on the outcome of the exams.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Optional work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
• Possess a valid AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Must own a non-Mac laptop to perform necessary tasks.
• Willingness to complete DMA training and certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and active medical license.
• AANP certification is required.
• Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
