Primary Care Physician (SNFist) - Los Angeles, CA
Physicians to see patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities
Salary: $210k-$240k plus bonus structure
Medical Director Positions are available for additional monthly income if interested
M-F
Flexible hours
On call 7a-7p
One day, one weekend per month day call
No night calls
Position Summary:
The Physician (SNFist) is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The physician works closely with nursing staff, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and manage patient care plans. The role focuses on improving the health outcomes of patients with complex medical conditions, often elderly individuals who need ongoing care, rehabilitation, and chronic disease management.

Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license in the state of CA.
- Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, or other relevant fields).
- Experience in a clinical setting, with experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred.
- Knowledge of SNF regulations and standards of care.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ability to make critical medical decisions and perform under pressure.
