Internal Medicine Residency Program Director needed less than one hour to Nashville. You will lead a new residency program with a hospital-employed, single-specialty group. Be a pivotal part of shaping the next generation of internal medicine physicians in a community experiencing rapid population growth. Previous Graduate Medical Education (GME) leadership experience, prefer five years of GME leadership experience.
Establish and oversee the inaugural Internal Medicine Residency Program. Design, develop, and implement the Internal Medicine Residency Program in alignment with ACGME standards. Provide leadership and mentorship to faculty and residents, ensuring a high-quality educational experience. Participate in recruitment and selection of residents, curriculum development, and program evaluation. Balance clinical responsibilities in inpatient and outpatient settings with administrative duties. Collaborate with hospital and group leadership to achieve program goals and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Competitive salary according to MGMA Guidelines.
