Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
- Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch
- Frequency: Monday – Friday, every week- no call, would also consider someone who could do only a few days/week
- Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal
- Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, CHF, etc
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity (includes new patients)
- Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
Submission Requirement:
- Board Certification – BC in Internal Medicine required, Geriatrics is a plus!! Site will consider candidate BC in Family Medicine if they have experience in IM & Family Medicine. - Required
- Active CA license - Required
- BLS - Required
- Clean malpractice/background
