Permanent Physician Opportunity - Internal Medicine in Clinton, IA
Join a thriving outpatient practice at a state-of-the-art facility in Clinton, Iowa. MercyOne Clinton is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to maintain a busy practice with support from a dedicated team. This physician will step into a fully developed practice alongside three other internists and one APP, with hospitalist coverage available if desired. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is conveniently located, with commutes taking less than 15 minutes within the city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a well-established patient base in a traditional practice setting.
- Collaborate with a supportive healthcare team, including other physicians and APPs.
- Provide quality patient care, including diagnosis and treatment in Internal Medicine.
- Participate in the call schedule, approximately 1:4 weekends.
- Utilize hospitalist coverage when needed, ensuring continuity of care.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of clinic operations and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (within 3 years of eligibility with plans to test).
- IA medical license or willingness to obtain.
- No history of malpractice issues.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
