Nocturnist Physician (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine) - Statesville, NC
Job Type: Full Time
Shifts: 7on/7off (7PM-7AM)
Responsibilities:

Shifts: 7on/7off (7PM-7AM)
Responsibilities:
- Work a consistent 7 on/7 off schedule, covering night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Receive assistance from an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) from 7 PM to 3 AM.
- Manage an average of 8 admissions per shift and handle cross-cover responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing rapid responses and codes
- Focus on patient care without the need to perform procedures
- Work in an open ICU setting
- Contribute to the care of a hospital with an average total census of 120 patients.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- 2 years of experience is required.
- Valid medical license to practice in NC.
- Excellent clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
