Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Opportunity - Columbia, MO
Great Opportunity – Primary Care Physician in Large Group Practice
Seeking a general Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to provide equitable and effective value-based healthcare services to a well-established primary care practice in Columbia, MO. We are seeking an ambulatory clinic physician who is motivated to provide exceptional care to our adult population; exposure to pediatrics is historically minimal. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Assess, diagnose, treat and administer primary care services for our patient population
Maintain accurate patient medical record data and documentation via Meditech Expanse
Collaborate with the medical group specialists, hospital providers and health system leadership to coordinate care and meet key quality metrics as it relates to population health
Access to full service, hospital affiliated clinic with excellent patient mix, including comprehensive lab, imaging and therapy services on-site
16 to 20 patients per day as a full-time provider with a half day protected as administrative time
Monday through Friday schedule with holidays off
Minimal call responsibilities shared amongst eight additional providers
Not for profit 392 bed full-service hospital in Columbia, MO. As a regional referral center it provides progressive healthcare programs, services, and technology to people in 25 mid-Missouri counties. A Magnet Hospital for its nursing excellence and has also been named the # 1 hospital in central Missouri and number five overall hospital in the state by U.S. News and World Report. We consists of more than 150 employed providers, representing 15 specialties operating out of 25+ clinic locations in the Mid-Missouri area.

What You Need:
- Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) graduate
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or board eligible)
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine and prescribe medication and the ability of obtain a Missouri medical license
- Active DEA license
