Position Details:

• Coverage Type: Call Only.
• Call Type: Beeper, with a required response time of 20 minutes.
• Average Call Number per 24 hrs: 5 phone consults and 30 patients seen.
• EMR: Epic, for efficient documentation and communication.
• Temporary Privileges: Available.
• Stroke Certified: Yes.
• Round on Assigned Patients: Ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
• Number of Beds in Department: 144.

Credentialing Information:

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.
• Providers will need to request privileges for performing TEEs, reading Nuclear Stress Tests, and Echoes. Case logs will be required to support the requests.

Schedule:

• Night Call Week 1:5, Weekend Call 1:5.
• Biweekly Rounding.

Skills Required:

• Must read echocardiograms, stress tests, vascular studies, and perform TEEs.
• Proficiency in Inpatient Cardiology, ICU, Non-invasive, Echocardiography, TEE, and Nuclear Cardiology.
• Strongly preferred proficiency in STEMI and Invasive Cardiology (diagnostic only).
