We are seeking a collaborative Internal Medicine Physician to permanently join our team of Internists, specialists, and other medical staff. Due to increasing demands of complex, chronic, and high-risk patient panels, an IMP is needed to help provide quality care to the community of Gillette.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes.
• Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary.
Qualifications
• Completion of IM residency at point of hire.
License/Certifications:
• Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in internal medicine, or board eligible
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Wyoming, or ability to obtain
