Order Description
- Specialty: Internal Medicine
- License: VA
- Willing to License?: No
- Board Certification: IM or FM
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: 3 month assignment to start with the option to extend another 3 - 6 months
- Schedule Needed: Full-time, 40 hours a week with assigned office hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break
- Other Support Staff: APP, Psych coverage provided
- Type of Facility: Hospital, Inpatient
- Procedures: Experience working with an acute and chronic adult inpatient population is required.
- Patient Census: 40 - 45
- EMR: Cerner
- Pay Rate: $150.00 all inclusive
- No call or overtime
Qualifications:
- 3+ more years as a Physician/Practitioner, preferred
- Experience working with in-patient (preferred) adult admissions or geriatric admissions and acute and chronic health management of adult, forensic and geriatric populations.
- Comfortable working on admissions work up and potential rapid turnover
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required
