JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in New Mexico is seeking an Internal Medicine Residency Program Director. Comprehensive recruitment package included. Must have 3+ years of educational and/or administrative experience in an Internal Medicine Program as a member of faculty or leadership team.
About:
Lead our Resident Categorical Internal Medicine residency program
Practice a combination of administrative and clinical teaching responsibilities (50/50)
Participate in faculty recruitment and retention
Develop curriculum, policies, and procedures for the program
HOSPITAL:
Facility has over 150 beds, a level III trauma center, and includes fully staffed 24-hour emergency care, including both an accredited Chest Pain Center and accredited Stroke Center. The hospital includes a specialized Heart and Vascular Center, an accredited Joint Replacement Center, a designated labor and delivery unit, NICU, and comprehensive ICU.
The inpatient and outpatient services include a Surgery Center with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery services; rehabilitation services; an accredited Sleep Center, Women’s Imaging Center, FSED, Urgent Care Centers, Primary Care Clinics, and Specialty Care Clinics.
