Specialty: Primary Care Physician- This can include background in IM, FP, PC, Neuro. Client will review all Specialties.
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3-6 months (Ongoing), potential for long term need
Shift Details: 8 hours (Flexible on times- 7a-10p)
Schedule: Mon-Fri (40 hrs)- No Call
Work Details:
• How many providers: 2
• Average day: Average day will consist of rounding with residents who are due for a visit, addressing emergencies as they arise, and helping admit new residents
• Department Description: Physician will manage care of a specific unit in the Veterans Home, staying with primarily the same group of residents. There is also a dormitory adjacent to the facility with 120 residents where physician will help with basic physicals and med emergencies only.
• EMR: Paper, but transitioning to WellSky
• Hospital details: 90 Resident Long-Term Care Facility (Increasing to 150 in new building currently under construction)
• Special Procedures: IM/FP/PC Focus, but open to other specialties – Will need to be able to handle cases in Cognitive Disorders, Behavioral Health, Dementia

• Specific travel client will pay for: Travel and lodging
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• License Required: MA license required
• Certifications Required: BLS, clean BG
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks once all documents are received
