We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician (MD) to join our multi-specialty healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as a primary care provider, offering comprehensive and personalized medical care to adult patients while collaborating with other specialists within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to patient health.


Please note- The annual base salary range is $200k to $225k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities

- Patient Care: Provide primary care services to adult patients, including performing comprehensive physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing chronic conditions.
- Preventive Care: Promote and facilitate preventive health measures, such as vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications, to enhance patients' well-being.
- Diagnostic Services: Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, and collaborate with specialists when needed for further evaluation and treatment.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications, educate patients on proper use, and monitor for potential side effects or interactions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and strategies for maintaining and improving their health.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty center to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Current and unrestricted medical license in New York
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
