VHS is searching for qualified Faculty for IM Residency Program for a FT position in Dothan, AL!
PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
Physician must be board-certified in IM
Clinical experience in an outpatient clinic preferred
Enthusiasm for teaching and leading physicians
Basic outpatient procedural knowledge is requested

- This program currently consists of a total of 45 residents as of July 1, 2023 with a complement increase from 13 residents/yr to 16 residents/yr
- Faculty physician to resident ratio 1:4
- Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
- Opportunity to participate in Noon Conference Lecture series, GME Program Committees, and Quality Improvement projects for those with an interest in clinical education and scholarly activity
