Job Description: As a Internal Medicine Physician you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of our patients and their families. You will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services, emphasizing preventive care, health maintenance, and the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups. You will enjoy M-F Scheduling, outpatient only practice with a 1:8 call schedule by phone only.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:

    • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and examinations.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
    • Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
    • Offer counseling and education to patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  2. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
    • Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate their care.
  3. Medical Records:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
    • Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
  4. Patient Relationships:

    • Build and maintain strong doctor-patient relationships based on trust and empathy.
    • Address patient concerns and ensure their satisfaction with their healthcare experience.
  5. Continuous Learning:

    • Stay current with medical research, best practices, and emerging healthcare trends.
    • Pursue professional development through CME activities and educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Board certification/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Licensed in the State of Oregon or the ability to attain a license
