Stamford Heath Medical Group in collaboration with Stamford Hospital seeks a B/C experienced primary care physician for a brand-new office slated to open in June 2024. The office is located in Stamford's trendy waterfront community. The new physician will work with an NP in a new office. Our ideal candidate is BC with a minimum of 5 years of experience post residency.

  • Stamford's Harbor Point neighborhood is an exciting redevelopment located in Stamford's South End with planned 4,000 housing units. The area has office buildings, restaurants, walking trails and a planned boardwalk.

Job Responsibilities

Welcome to Stamford's newest neighborhood - Harbor Point alongside the Long Island Sound. The Harbor Point neighborhood has multiple luxury high rise apartment buildings with more under construction. This exciting neighborhood has an eclectic assortment restaurants and shops with more opening. Many of the Harbor Point residents commute into the city for work and chose to relocate away from metro NYC for a better quality of life, and a better cost of living.,
The walk-in clinic hours will be 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, covered by 2 full-time providers and a nurse practitioner. The clinic will have two (2) full-time providers and a nurse practitioner. This position requires shift work - three 12 hour shifts per week plus admin. time.

This site will open as a walk-in clinic and transition to an urgent care are more services are offered at this new location. The new office will open in June, however if someone wants to start sooner, they will begin working at our walk-in location on Long Ridge Road. Our EMR is EClinicalWorks. We seek candidates who are experienced, flexible and willing to take on the exciting challenge of working in a brand-new office with support of leadership. Come and grow with us!

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years post residency experience, ideally in a walk-in clinic or urgent care center. Flexibility and ability to work independently. Graduation from an accredited medical school, board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and valid CT medical license or ability to obtain one.

Working Hours

12 hour shifts
Clinic Hours will be: 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week
