Academic Primary Care opening in Fayetteville, NC Approx 1 hour to Raleigh, NC Full time, permanent Faculty position Outpatient Healthcare group is looking for a passionate, skilled primary care physician to join our academic faculty practice. If you are a board-eligible or board-certified Internal Medicine or family medicine physician with a desire to impact community health and educate the next generation of physician leaders, this position is the right fit for you! The residency continuity clinic is the main outpatient teaching site for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. We serve a very diverse population that encompasses Fayetteville, Fort Bragg and surrounding counties. This is a full-time salaried position within a strictly outpatient setting. Participation in clinic leadership meetings is expected. Opportunities for involvement in clinic operations projects, quality improvement, didactic teaching on ambulatory topics, serving as an advisor and role model for residents, program clinical competency and program evaluation committees and graduate medical education are available and strongly encouraged. Attendings are expected to precept with resident physicians and teach medical students within the clinic. Opportunities for academic appointments at affiliated medical schools are available within this position.
