Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, a multi-campus institution in West Texas, invites applications for the faculty positions described below. The successful candidate will assume teaching, research, and clinical responsibilities. Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in the area of specialty and have an interest in clinical education and research. Candidates must have a strong willingness to teach health professions students, medical students and house staff.
All applicants must hold a M.D/D.O. degree or foreign medical equivalent; have completed a Medical Residency and/or Fellowship program relative to their specialty and must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in the appropriate area of medicine. The positions are advertised at the Assistant Professor level but the successful candidate will be appointed at a rank and in a track commensurate with his/her level of expertise and qualifications. An active medical license or license eligibility in the State of Texas is required for all positions.
