Traditional Internal Medicine position for daytime hours only. You will join 17 providers in a collegial and thriving Internal Medicine practice in a hospital-employed setting. This is a 267-bed regional, Level II Trauma Center . This is a true, full spectrum, traditional Internal Medicine position where you will maintain a diverse practice model, getting to see your patients in the clinic and maintain continuity of care in the hospital, in collaboration/support with the Hospitalists.
Base Salary: $290,000. Incentive Package: $150,000 . Attractive benefits package including medical malpractice coverage, 401 K, pension, relocation allowance and more. Balanced mix of hospital and clinic to allow for a wonderful life outside of work.. 4-day Clinic Week. Clinic volume: 10 patients/day (Average). Hospital volume: 5-6 patients/day (Average). Dedicated Nocturnists; No Nights!. Clinic Connected to the Hospital. Teaching opportunities at local medical school and residency program.. Sub-specialty backup, optional procedures and an open ICU with intensivist support.. Flexible and adjustable hours to allow for a great work/harmony balance. Community - population of 150k with service area of 500k. Nestled on the shores of Lake Superior with only two hours to Minneapolis. This community has a regional airport, a outdoor lovers paradise, outstanding public and private schools and many college and university options. Rated as one of the best small cities in the Midwest.
