Location: Bridgeport and Stamford, CT
Role Type: Outpatient Internal Medicine

Job Overview:
Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a prominent Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multiple locations throughout southern Connecticut. This position offers a 100% outpatient focus with no call responsibilities, serving adult and geriatric patients. This opportunity provides substantial career growth within the largest provider of primary care services in Fairfield County.
- Deliver high-quality primary care to adult and geriatric patients in a fully outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation and uphold all regulatory standards.
- No new graduates at this time.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Outpatient only — Monday through Friday schedule
- Average 18 patients per day
- EPIC EMR (very important)
- Comprehensive support team including community health workers, nutritionists, and care navigators
- Strong onboarding and ramp-up period
- Spanish proficiency a plus

Requirements
- No graduates, ASAP start date
- MD preferred, with completion of a residency in Internal Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Active CT license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
