Job Description
An Ocala Florida based client is seeking an excellent Primary Care Physician to provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
- Current FL state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- Board certified or eligible in primary care (Family Practice or Internal Medicine)
- Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a program of comprehensive health for patients, to include preventative medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion
- Diagnose and treat patients of all ages and variable health conditions
- Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results
- Competent care of patients of all ages
