**Internal Medicine opportunity in Monroe County, TN**
Located 45 miles from Knoxville, TN and 70 miles from Chattanooga, TN
**Position Details:**
- Full-time, permanent position
- Seeking BC/BE physician interested in practicing a full-spectrum of Internal medicine.
- Opportunity to work with medical students - typically, each physician can accept 3-4 students per year with the flexibility of more involvement if preferred.
- The incoming physician will work with 4 other independent, private physicians
- The provider's schedule includes making rounds followed by seeing patients in the clinic. The office is located adjacent to the hospital and will have a minimum of 3 exam rooms with the space to add more when needed.
- On average, the physicians round on 3-6 inpatients and see 20-25 patients per day in the office.
- Call responsibilities include weekday practice call and unassigned ER patients (approximately 6 days per month).
- CPSI/Evident EMR system
- Candidates must be Board certified (or eligible if completing training) internal medicine;
- MD or DO
- Candidates of all experience levels will be considered.
