Med/Peds Hospitalist Opening in MN
Located in Willmar MN

The health facility is a multi-specialty health network in West Central and Southwest Minnesota with over 180 physicians and advanced practice providers in 40 specialty areas. It is committed to improving the health of our communities and maintaining its role as the healthcare leader of choice. Seeking an internal medicine/pediatrics physician. This opportunity offers a guaranteed salary, signing bonus, production incentive plan, excellent benefits package, and an outstanding profit-sharing plan. Full partnership offered after two years.
Work Schedule:
8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Monday Friday
7 days on/7 days off
Shift work and flexible scheduling available.
Call Schedule:
1 day every week
1 weekend every 3 weekends
*IM Department assists with call responsibilities
Inpatients:
8 14 per day (Medical)
2-6 per day (Newborns)
0-2 per day (ICN)
0-6 per day (Pediatric Floor)
Special Procedures:
Ventilator care, Cardioversion, ICCU care. Attendance at high-risk deliveries, newborn stabilization (neonatal intubation, UAC/UVC placement, NRP certification and proficiency). Management of Level 2 nursery (ICN) newborns includes 34-37 week preterms, feed and grow pre-terms, mild moderate RDS/TTN, R/O sepsis, newborn infectious disease, hyperbilirubinemia, etc. Lumbar puncture (newborn and pediatric); Thoracentesis (for critical neonatal pneumothorax); Circumcision (newborn).
Admitting Hospital:
120 Beds
Level 2 Intensive Care Nursery
8 Beds ICCU
Emergency, Trauma, Advanced Cardiac Life Support 24/7 Physician Coverage
