Med/Peds Hospitalist Opportunity in Tarboro, NC
A community hospital in Tarboro, North Carolina is seeking a board certified or board eligible Med/Peds physician to join its hospitalist program. This position offers a 7-on/7-off schedule and the opportunity to work in a well-supported environment with procedural training available.
Position Highlights:
Full-time hospitalist opportunity for a BE/BC Med/Peds physician
7-on/7-off schedule, 7a-7p with two 7p-7a shifts every other week
Clinical responsibilities include: Level II nursery, well newborn nursery, rounding, discharges, vent management, and intubation
Opportunity for procedures including central line placement and thoracentesis with training provided
Anticipated census of 10-12 patients per day
ICU coverage by pulmonary critical care physicians during the day and hospitalists on nights/weekends
Strong air and ground support to tertiary care center 30 minutes away
Established hospitalist team with six providers
EPIC EMR system-wide
BLS and ACLS certifications required
