Internal Medicine-Peds opportunity in Mattoon, Illinois - Located 3 hours from Chicago; 2 hours from St Louis; 1.5 hours from Springfield, IL - Service area of 50,000 people Position Details:

  • Seeking a Internal Medicine-Peds Physician for a solo provider clinic
  • Clinic shares a building with a walk in clinic
  • Established practice is currently covered by an APP
  • 1:4 call
  • 33 days of time off
  • MD/DO
Compensation and Benefits Details FM - $300,000 + bonus based on RVU production IM/Pediatric - $315,000 + bonus based on RVU production $40,000 sign-on bonus $30,000 total retention bonus (paid $10,000 at the end of years 1, 2 & 3) Quality bonus potential, 10% of base salary (eligible upon earning base salary) 5 days + $6,000 CME annually About Mattoon: ~ Centrally located in Mattoon, Health Center is a 128-bed, community hospital in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago and 130 miles east of St. Louis. ~ The Health Center provides a full range of acute-care, general services and home health services to approximately 357,000 residents of Coles and the surroundings 12 counties. The Health Center's active and consulting medical staff includes nearly 200 providers representing multiple specialties. A strong employed physician base means built-in referrals and excellent collaboration on patient care. ~ In a recent survey, healthcare center ranked in the 95th percentile in employee engagement and in the 91st percentile in physician satisfaction.
