**Med/Peds Nocturnist opening near Fayetteville, NC**
- Located in Clinton, NC - Fayetteville 35m
- Full-time, permanent opening
- Hospital-employed position
- Must be ***BC/BE Family Medicine or Med/Peds***
- Approximately 10-12 shifts/month
Highlights Include:
Rounding on Adult and Pediatric patients (great mix for individual who wants inpatient work and ability to care for patients of all ages
Flexible scheduling of shifts, 8P-8A, 12-hour shifts
Inpatient clinical responsibilities including admissions, discharges, consults, and transfers
ICU management including rounding, running codes, vent management, and intubations
Attend caesarian sections and round in the newborn nursery (NRP certification is required)
Work independently; on-call specialists available by phone
Nocturnist can expect to have 4-5 patient encounters per night with an average of 3-4 Emergency Department admissions
Wide scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care and Urology
Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington, North Carolina
