Slow Down the PACE.. with Geriatrician Outpatient Position-Permanent & or Locums

Are you tired of treating 20-30 patients per day? Would you rather be providing quality care to 8-10 patients instead?

Then this might be just what you have been looking for - distinct from the ordinary primary care role. Our client operates several PACE programs, which are adult day care centers, located in the West and East Coast.

Locations:

Colorado, Virginia, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and California.

This could lead to a full time permanent position.

PRIMARY CARE FOR SENIORS (Geriatrics)- Locum Tenens or Perm- Details:

The schedule is 8a - 5p,
Monday thru Friday
or a part time arrangement maybe available as well depending on availability and schedule.

This is senior care
delivered in a center that includes a clinic area
and provides senior day care including meals, activities and transportation for enrollees or "participants".

Prefer 1 year of working with the geriatric population
(in any capacity,
RN, LVN, etc)

You will work with a dedicated, interdisciplinary team that includes RN's, MA's, therapists, MSW Case Managers and other staff

There is a team atmosphere and approach to care.

Your role is to provide primary care in a manner that is equivalent to a Medical Home model where time with your patient is valued
and not held to an arbitrary production model.

You may spend an hour to 90 minutes with new patients and coordinate the care of needed specialists and others.
