Clinical Role:
ASAP -Ongoing
Seeking a full time (1.0 FTE) Geriatrics Physician to join our Geriatrics Team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Provides care for patients in eight local nursing facilities and supports the Home Thrive Program, an Advanced Care Coordination Program
Autonomy and flexibility in schedule; M-F, 8 am - 5 pm
Weekend Requirements: Autonomy and flexibility in schedule
On Call Requirements: Autonomy and flexibility in schedule; Call shared among Providers
Opportunity to teach Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
Practice leadership and team that supports work/life balance
Visit length adequate to meet complex patient population
Call shared among Providers
Open to new graduates who have completed a Fellowship in Geriatrics
Open to experienced candidates in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
If candidate is TRULY Board Eligible, must become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligible
Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain again
Not open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment
Not accepting Locums candidates
Not accepting visa candidates
Board Eligible (to become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming Board Eligible) or Board Certified in Geriatrics Medicine -OR- Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with Geriatrics Experience – Required
Active MI License – Required
DEA – Required
ACLS, BLS – Required
