  • Internal Medicine Physician - 1099 Locum Tenens
  • Target Start: As soon as credentialed.
  • Duration of Need: 6 months to a year.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, every week. No Call.
  • Covered Expenses: Full Travel/Lodging, Pre-paid Medical Malpractice Insurance.

Details:
  • Setting: Internal Medicine Clinic.
  • Population: average age 70. Half male/half female, with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chf, etc.
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Patients Per Day: 12-18 per day depending on complexity.
  • Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic), and RN assigned to clinic.
  • Reason for coverage: Provider retiring.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
License: active California license required.
Board Certified: Required
