Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: February 27, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: 1-2 weekends per month, Friday 5pm-Saturday 5am and Saturday 5pm-Sunday 5am
- Friday: evening/night call
- Saturday: day rounding & evening/night call
- Sunday: day rounding
- Open Dates:
- February: 27
- March: 2
- April: 11–12
- May: 2–3
- June: 20–21
- August: 1–2, 15–16
- September: 19–20
- October: 3–4, 17–18
Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient 18-bed closed ICU with night call
- EMR: Epic
- Round on 18-24 critically ill patients with APC and IM/FM/EM residents
- Call Ratio: APC/Resident on at night so call volume to physician varies
- Trauma Level: Level 2
- Total Number of Beds: 425 hospital wide
- Number of ICU Beds: 18
- Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 18
- Average Number of Admissions per Physician per Day: 3-4
- Practice Setting: all encompassing- cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, surgical
- Ventilation Management Procedures Required: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy), Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Required Insertions: Central Line, Arterial Line, PA Catheter
- Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Lumbar puncture
- Supervision: Required to supervise other healthcare providers and cover/supervise teaching services for IM, FM, and EM residents
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care (Pulm crit care preferred)
- Ohio State License
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- Flu Vaccine
- COVID Vaccination highly preferred
- Must have weekend availability
