- 50 total beds with 10 high-acuity beds
- Inside the LTAC of hospital
- All pts currently admitted to hospitalist services
- Critical care as consulting service (may evolve to high-acuity admissions in future state)
- Intensivist will see all high-acuity and a few lower acuity pts
- High-acuity includes
- orotracheally intubated pts and vasopressors
- Tracheostomy placement as needed
- Consult services available
- PEG tube placement available
- Requirements
- Clean background
- Active GA license and GA DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible in Critical Care
