We are recruiting a full-time Senior Medical Director of Adult Primary Care, located in Albuquerque, NM.
The Senior Medical Director (SMD) is responsible for implementation of DaVita Medical Group, NM’s (DMG) long and short term strategic healthcare initiatives, designing and implementing viable clinical services and programs to deliver quality healthcare to our community. This position requires a 0.8 FTE to 0.9 FTE leadership commitment as well as a 1.0 FTE overall commitment; the balance composed of clinical time. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing oversight of Comprehensive Health Assessment Programs (CHAPs) including Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment programs.
Leadership Competencies include:
Experience Required: Two years experience at senior leadership level in medical group or network; 5 years experience as a practicing Adult Primary Care physician, preferably in a medical group. Experience in both fee-for-service and managed care operations preferred.
